Here at Coton Green Church Preschool we aim to support families of all situations. We are accepting of both THINK2 (2year old) and 3/4year old funding and have a range of session options to suit our families.
If you meet the criteria, your child may be eligible for THINK2 funding, you would have to apply for this on the local authority website and would be given a unique voucher code to take to your chosen childcare provider - this would become effective and usable the term after their 2nd birthday and you are able to use those hours towards sessions at the preschool - depending on sessions available etc. https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-2-year-olds
All children become entitled to 15 hours government funding the term after their 3rd birthday. 15 hours is universal - for everyone.
There is also another type of funding called extended funding which means some/most working families are entitled to 30 hours funding per week for their child. Again those 15/30 hours can be used towards sessions dependent on availability etc.
We are open Term Time Only and therefore your funding is applied to your child's sessions across the week and over 38 weeks of the year.
All children who attend sessions past 12noon must bring a lunchbox daily with a healthy packed lunch (see our healthy lunchbox guide for more information) Your child will be able to access fresh water throughout the day to drink, but we do ask that you provide a drinks bottle with their lunchbox too.
The setting does provide snack, this consists of fruit and savoury options, each day will be different but nutritionally healthy for your child. Your child will be able to choose from milk or water at snack times. All allergies are taken into account when preparing foods.
Any additional hours outside of your funding entitlement will be charged at the pre-school hourly rate for your child's age.
If you have any questions about the funding options available to you, please give us a call.
We are now taking children for September 2023, places are limited so be sure to enquire so you do not miss out!
